Les envio este dato interesante para aquellos que no han logrado un sistema automatizado en sus bibliotecas esta es una buena opción ademas de contar con la opción del catalogo en línea y lo mejor del caso es que es sobre la web no requiere licencia de OPAC, que aveces son muy caras!!

The Mandarin Web OPAC will allow any library patron to access the library catalog from every computer in the library, and from home. Access is available through a web browser so there is no need to install any OPAC software on any computer. Library patrons can easily search the library catalog and reserve/renew books from home. You can preview the Web OPAC at Mandarin Library Automation The Web OPAC is $260 for the initial license and includes the 1st year service. The annual Service and Update Agreement is $125 after the first year.

No me explique bien segun puedo observar, la licencia de OPAC requiere de un software que te permite acceder via Internet, esta versión de mandarín no requiere de software, por ello la lilcencia es más económica que en otros sistemas
